Why Talamasca?
The breeding of Talamasca was born from a childhood dream, from a passion that drives me day and night, it is the project of a lifetime!
Passionate about animals since childhood, I have a special affinity with dogs.
The Collie is a dog that has always attracted me, already very young, and at 8 years old my parents realized my dream by taking me to choose a puppy from the very first litter of American Collie born in France, at Clos d'Acadie.
(by a happy coincidence, we lived 3km from this farm!)
Here I am at the age of 8, with my first Collie: "Gipsy" Pretty Julia du Clos d'Acadie =>
My family encouraging me to follow my passion, so I embarked on a professional cynotechnic career with the state diploma of canine and feline breeder at the LEGTA in Cibeins.
Holder of the BEPA canine breeding since 2008
Animal behaviorist training at the Center Cynotechnique Puigrenier
Three American Collies accompanied me from my childhood to adulthood:
* Pretty Julia du Clos d'Acadie known as "Gipsy" from 1999 to 2011 *
* Accalia's Checkmate called "Checkers" from 2005 to 2011 (was previously at Clos d'Acadie) *
* Talamasca du Clos d'Acadie, from 2007 to 2020 *
I will occupy the positions of Veterinary Assistant and Saleswoman in pet stores for six years in parallel with my activity as a canine behaviorist.
In 2011, we bought a big house in a secluded area so that we could realize my dream: raising dogs.
Thanks to my husband for following me in this incredible but devouring adventure...
In 2014, we are getting married, well surrounded by all our dogs!
Since 2016, following the birth of our daughter, I have gradually stopped working as a behaviorist and have chosen to only work part-time as a Veterinary Assistant in order to devote as much time as possible to our dogs and puppies.
I will be delighted to receive you in order to make you discover this marvelous dog that is the American Collie!

Canine...
Raising is a profession. Raising is a passion. Raising must remain a pleasure, a waking dream... the day when I will no longer marvel at a birth, a mother playing with her puppies, a little one suckling my fingers, it means that I will no longer be made for that...or more certainly, that I will be six feet under to end on a humorous note!
